Location: Darwin Cenotaph War Memorial, The Esplanade, Darwin
Held at sunset at in the lead up to Anzac Day at the Darwin Cenotaph, these intimate ceremonies will commemorate members of the Australian Armed Forces from the Northern Territory who died during or as a result of active service, sharing stories at each event. The moving Last Post will echo across Darwin Harbour, creating an unforgettable experience. Dignitaries and members of the Australian Defence Force will mark these solemn salutes. A selection of stories will also be shared on the Territory Tribute website and social media.
Ceremonies will be held between Tuesday, 19 February to Tuesday, 9 April on Tuesdays (8 ceremonies). Then they will be held daily between Tuesday, 16 April to Wednesday, 24 April in the lad up to Anzac Day (9 ceremonies).
